Before And After School Help:
If you find yourself struggling with a night's assignment or just need extra help, you are always more than welcome to stop by before school after 8:00am. While on occassion I may be absent, on duty, or in a meeting, generally I will be there ready to answer any questions that you have.
If it is not possible to meet before school, but you still want extra help, come and see me at the begining of class, and I will try and set something up to help you out. However, please keep in mind that I cannot guarantee that I will be able to help out on any given day, you must contact me at least 1-2 school days beforehand.
Online Help
Prentice Hall has an excellent website that you can use anywhere you have an internet connection. The website is http://www.phschool.com/math . The web code that must be entered in to access the information can be found in class. Once logged in, you can view videos that have an actual teacher walking you through each lesson, and even take practice quizzes and tests to make sure that you understand the material. It is a great resource for studying for tests and quizzes, and just to make sure you are keeping up with the rest of the class.
Make-Up Work:
If you are absent for up to two weeks, check the Make Up Work board. Any worksheets will be in the folders, and a list of the past two weeks worth of homework, along with the date assigned, can be found. Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to get any missed work, not the teachers. You have two days for every one day absent to complete your missing work. And while I give reminders of this policy occassionally in class, I will not give reminders on an individual basis.
